This month ive jsut started and am playing everyday, i was about $1.6k up on the day but a long month ahead!
a more in depth update with proof of what i said above will follow, but this year is just not what i thought, everything i make im pretty much spending and hardly saving anything
i just got a new place in town (rented) finally finally moved out of the skyline not that its bad there, its pretty amazing but i was close to moving a few times previous so i felt like an idiot saying im moving again, but i am! monday and its all definitely done this time, moving to the great northern tower fwiw, amazing place there
so thats eaten up quite a bit of money plus general ridiculous spending and bills etc.. its just why i cant move up the stakes, im a bankroll nit as it is but you wouldnt believe just how much i spend, plus i havent played enough this year, my work ethic is nowhere near where my ambition is but im not doing the old i should work harder line cos this game does fuck you up mentally, a lot, i find it a little hard to take sometimes and i cant seem to keep a level head a lot, i do look forward to playing now but it needs to be structured and within a routine otherwise i cant focus, like i cant start playing on the 29th july, i have to wait til the 1st august cos otherwise its just weird.
anyway im about $66k (£40k) up or something to that effect up this year from poker and i have hardly played compared to last year, i wanted so much more, but thats a great amount, in this blog i just repeat myself really, a lot, im on course for another £100k year anyway which is brilliant
my plan is just to play every single day when i can, i cant even sit around these days and watch telly, i can, but i dont like it, unless its after a long session, ive literally forgotten how to relax, no matter where i am i cant relax
poker will make me miserable sometimes but without it id be completely miserable, i want to play so that the freedom i have never goes away
im gonna read back on this in like 5 years and think what a complete tit, the thing is im still so young (22) and i know so little, and im trying to learn about the world and gain life experience but its really hard when you play online poker for a living, im trying to learn it all on my own, well i guess thats how everyone else learns except i have a blog called the goatian 2009 to tell everyone about it
i will screenshot june and july, but every other month since i started is accounted for here, june i played a few k hands and lost a load, think i took a shot at 5/10, lost £3k and quit for the month
July i worked a little harder and had a tough month but pulled through in the end and came out with that £7 500 profit i mentioned at the start
i am playing again, i just stopped blogging and like going to the gym you can go go go but if u miss one you miss them for ages, i dont go gym btw, but i play 5 a side football loads, i think its the best thing i ever did when i started a few momths ago, nothing i enjoy more than playing football!
i played some live poker as well the other week which was fun, i should do that more, i played absolutely crazy but i still knew what i was doing and managed to run incredibly well until i had a hand where i didnt realise somebody else was in the hand and shoved all in vs my mate and this guy pops up "hello i have a hand too and it beats yours" so that sucked but i was up loads anyway and he only had £400, pointless story
