Final Stats for March

Not only did i not enjoy the games at full ring at all, it was a lot less profitable.

Since the last post I have only played a few k hands, i was too mentally exhausted to carry on, and finish competitively in the race, and tbh i was up enough all together than an extra $2k in race money wasnt too much to pass up. I had the bonus figures wrong in some previous posts, more than i thought.

A good month on the tables in the end, total figures are:

DAY 21/21

PROFIT : $19 376
BONUSES: $7564
RACE : $4 000

TOTAL: +$30 940

Which at todays x rate means

+£21 622

Im very happy with the month :) I grinded hard, 125k or so hands in the end which was a lot considering my previous months exploits!

Ill do a few more posts in a few days looking back at some hands and some of my stats, more interesting i suppose than just figure updates!

In terms of plans for the future, im going to take 15 days off now and have some fun with my life! Its nice being able to relax, it really is!

After that im going to hit the tables again for a 14 day long grind and another 100k hands, if I have another good month at 2/4 6 max then in May i will be definitely playing 5/10

Im probably on course to win $250 000 this year rather than 500 000 as I targeted but still a long way to go, if i move up then it is definitely possible!

    Ive never been nothing but polite to people, everytime i lose a pot im nothing but gracious and quiet

    Everytime someone loses vs me i get called so many names

    I have people commenting on me to ste calling me names

    People win pots vs me and they are screaming in my face

    If you wanna believe people at the table at the G who clearly dont like young "internet" players over me then fine.

    Its ridiculous, ive never said a bad word to anyone there.

    They just dont like me cos im not open limping every hand

  6. yeah i forgot poker is a game with no egos, nobody who plays live poker has an ego.

    just because i get raise a lot of hands doesnt make me cocky, people ask me about how i do online and i tell them, i try to be nice to people, i try not to offend anyone

  8. Goat..I wasn't having a dig at all...I think your ok.

    95% of the texas cash players at the G are ok and don't scream/brag/etc

    i hope u play there more, i'm curious to see how you get on live. In my (limited) experience. all the people who say they are big winners at online cash (and I do believe you are) are losers live (at the G that would include the John Heath, bananaman crew)

    .....and word is that Clarkatroid does no good live....i can't work it out!!!

    The thing with most of the Manchester G players is that they have got used to how texas holdem in there is played. So wen some "young online kid" comes in and starts raising evry pot they feel out of their comfort zone.

    The funny thing is, most of them think u r a fish just because ur playing a different style. Wat tends to then happen is players gang up on the fish and dont make them feel welcome, they all then feel more confortable and think because they r all playing similarly they must be "doing it right" and you are "doing it wrong".

    Obv the better players understand you sometimes have to protect and nuture the game so they r more inclined to befriend the weaker losing players to make them feel more comfortable.

    il leave u with some fantastic table comments about you i heard the other night:

    - "hes the worst player ive ever seen" (my personal fav...maybe it was me that said it)

    - i limped in with my AA cos hes been raising (well durrrrrr)

    - hes one of those online crazy players

    - hes raising blind! hes raising this one blind guys.... he hasnt looked, HES RAISING BLIND (3 callers, all check fold the flop... nh goatian who shows air)

    - I told you he raised that last one blind

    - Some noob shows a bluff to the goat. His nooby friend turns to him and says "He didnt look confident when he bet the flop, you could see it all over his face....PAUSE 10 SECONDS.... Hes got a tell"

    - "HEART, HEART, CMON HEARTS....YESSSSSS... IN UR FACE INTERNET KID IVE GOT A FLUSH. AHAHAHAHAAHA" A standing all in fishcake finally makes a hand against the goatian, who responds with the simple declaration "Ive got a full house". oops.

    Everyone and I mean everyone who has sat in a texas cash game and 'raised every pot' has without wexception done there bollocks in/

  13. raising every pot was an exaggeration. i basically just meant playing a more laggy style, not literally raising every single pot. I agree tho no1seems to have done well playing that way but i dont think any1 has done it well enough in the G.
    G players r terrible at playing back at this types of players tho, they think they r always bluffing and do ludicrous things against them.
    Perhaps this style can be a winner in the G one day.....

  17. HaHa, I'm ThisistheTruth on ipoker goat, we've played a bit. I play a £1/£1 game live most weeks and get the same thing, nothing malicious though, it's like they take raising their open limps as a personal insult. Friend told m,e they whinge/berate me really hard behing my back think I'll go busto in that game, strangely none ever buy in for Max though..GL.
